Finally, we maintain information on the basis of our legitimate interest where there is an outstanding or potential issue, claim or dispute requiring us to keep information (in particular if we receive a valid legal subpoena or request asking us to preserve data (in which case we would need to keep the data to comply with our legal obligations) or if data would otherwise be necessary as part of legal proceedings).

4.4 Policy Scope

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information that you have provided or made accessible to third parties, such as other members, including group organizers and network administrators, and others with whom you may share information about yourself. It's possible that our Platform may direct you to a third-party service, such as social media services, or a portion of our Platform may be controlled by a third party (typically through the use of a frame or pop-up window separate from other content on our Platform). The disclosure of any information to these third parties is subject to the relevant third party’s privacy policy. If you request information related to another member, such as copies of messages received through our service, we require the member's written consent before releasing the information. In this case, we may also ask the member to verify their identity. Please note that we may not be able to fulfill certain requests to object to or restrict the processing of your personal information if it prevents us from providing our service to you, such as in cases where we require your date of birth to ensure that you are 18 years or older.

4.6 Age Restriction

The Age Restriction policy refers to the requirement that users must be at least a certain age to use the Tribe platform. In this case, the minimum age is 18 years old. This means that if you are under the age of 18, you are not permitted to use the Tribe platform. The Age Restriction policy is in place to ensure that users of Tribe are legally able to consent to the collection and processing of their personal information, which is a requirement under privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA. Additionally, the Age Restriction policy helps to protect minors from potential harm that may occur through interactions with other users on the platform. Tribe may use various methods to verify a user's age, such as asking for date of birth during account creation or requesting identification documents. If a user is found to be under the age of 18, their account may be suspended or terminated. It is important for users to accurately represent their age when creating an account on Tribe, as misrepresenting age is a violation of the platform's terms of service. If you suspect that a member is under the age of 18, please use the reporting mechanism available on the service.
